“I really liked the building itself and the square, the red door makes a lovely reception and my reception by Jess and Barry was really welcoming and practical. Health and Safety, Facilities, Studio Procedures and Booking were fully explained. Studio members I met were friendly and helpful and willing to share ideas and methodologies. Positive aspects of the studio are undoubtedly the staff for their positivity, vision and organisation. The etching studio is a good space to work in, roomy and light with the acid/aquatint areas easily accessible. I thought using the heat gun to burn on the aquatint a great idea; I’d never done that before, it worked really well and produced an even finish.”
