My recent experience on the PNI Inter-Studio Residency was incredibly rewarding and has had a significant impact on how I approach my practice today. As a member of Graphic Studio Dublin who recently relocated to Cork, the timing couldn’t have been better.
The residency offered a valuable opportunity to immerse myself in the Cork Printmakers community, explore the local art scene, and experiment with new techniques in a fresh environment. It also allowed me to connect with fellow printmakers and gain insight into a different studio culture.
Following the success of the residency, I applied to become a full-time member of Cork Printmakers — a step that has already opened up exciting new opportunities. I’m looking forward to continuing my work here and building on the momentum the residency has helped create.
